I love hot weather so it’s a bit sad for me to put away the flip-flops, but I’m enjoying the culinary opportunities fall in Pennsylvania presents: home made pie with apples we picked ourselves!
A few days ago we went apple picking and this morning turned our harvest into a yummy apple pie! The snerds enjoyed every part of the process: from running through the orchard, to rolling out the dough, to eating the finished product!
I really enjoy activities that make me feel closer to nature, closer to our roots, and closer to our food source. These are important values I want to pass along… not to mention yummy!
