As a freelance writer muddling through pregnancy, babies and toddlerhood, I have lots of particulars to share with new parents. I’ve pitched more ideas to editors than dirty diapers in the diaper champ. A few of my topics were published by big-time magazines, some I covered here, but most of them rotted in a file (like those diapers in the landfill).

So I stitched my ideas together and published a book called A Parenting Conspiracy: The Fine Print for Becoming a Parent divulging all the trials and tribulations of parenting that are rarely revealed. Old-timer parents will be reassured and new parents will be warned. A short, humorous read, it could oust paisley burps cloths as your go-to gift for baby showers and new mommy friends.
Amy Adele –creator of the cutest baby and kid’s stationary and authority on all things adorable– says “Emily mixes together sobering facts and a bit of humor to confront glowing first-time mothers that what lies ahead may not be so great after all… but is definitely worth it. ”
This book should top any parent-to-be’s must-read list! I’m also available for interviews and other gushing sessions. If you’ve read my book and like it, please post a raving review on Amazon, if you don’t like it, please don’t tell anyone. Order yours today (or read it on Kindle for half-price) from Amazon, or Barnes & Noble (where you save 32%)…
